Fitoor

Fitoor (Obsession), as the title suggests, is a love story. Noor (Aditya Roy Kapor), a poor but talented Kashmiri lad, falls in love with Firdaus, a wealthy and arrogant girl (Katrina Kaif). They meet up, then split up, just to reunite again. Despite mouthing allegedly emotional lyrics like "Khud se Azad ya to maut karti Hai ya ishq (You can gain liberation from the self either through death or love)," they leave the audience chilly and disinterested.

Fitoor aspires to be a great, legendary romance, but it relies far more on its magnificent Kashmir backdrop to do so, rather than engaging individuals and a compelling tale. Firdaus brushes Noor aside with the same abrasiveness with which she dashes back into his arms. Understanding Noor's affection for her daughter, her mother, Begum Hazrat (Tabu), urges him on while also forcing him to come to a halt. it Is it the storyline itself that has grown outdated, or has it been lost in translation? Having it in Kashmir going to be its ultimate downfall?

The terrain is visibly cleansed of both militancy and the armed group. Katrina is OK as long as she's allowed to be herself. So, she performs, grins, and flirts cutely, but the moment a serious scenario comes up, her trademark "wet eyes and dewy lips" act draws attention to her complete lack of ability as an actor. Aditya must appear fully enthralled by her and heartbroken in romance, which he accomplishes admirably. A sense of mystery, deception, and oddity, as well as stilted speech.

This movie takes you through many suspense’s and thriller.
